About Me

I am a Registered and Chartered Clinical Psychologist.

I have worked in a range of settings, including social care settings (with Looked After and Adopted Children), private sector (inpatient and outpatient settings), NHS inpatient (forensic), and community care services (CAMHS).

I currently work within the NHS as a Principal Clinical Psychologist, and in private practice, where I am experienced in providing psychological assessment and treatment for a range of mental health difficulties. I work with children, adolescents and adults.

I am able to provide sessions for children, adolescents and adults experiencing numerous types of emotional distress, including low mood, anxiety disorders (including PTSD; OCD; Panic; phobias) as well as behavioural difficulties and psychosomatic disorders, possibly resulting from by not restricted to psychological trauma.

I am also highly experienced in carrying out formal cognitive assessments and neurodevelopmental assessment (for Autistic Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) and provide detailed reports on these.

I am an integrative psychologist, my practice draws on a range of therapeutic models (e.g. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy; Systemic Approaches; Compassion Focused Therapy; Mindfulness; Acceptance Commitment Therapy; Dialectical Behaviour Therapy; Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing). These models enable me to offer both short term and long term therapeutic intervention. Therapy is delivered in a compassion focused way, within an attuned therapeutic relationship. Here, therapy can be adapted to meet the individual needs of clients.

My experience and expertise enable me to prepare reports across a range of family, criminal, and civil law proceedings. I undertake this work via DGA: Dr Grange & Associates (www.dgaexperts.co.uk)
